Terms of Service

The service

The Makers' Circuit operates a progressive dining experience across three estates in Victoria. Small groups of four to six guests travel between estates over the course of a single day. We are not a tour operator. Each edition is a curated collaboration with individual producers. Learn more on our about page.

Bookings and payment

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment processed securely through Stripe. Pricing is listed per person on each edition page. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days may be offered a credit toward a future edition at our discretion. If we cancel an edition due to weather, producer availability, or other circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.

Gift vouchers

A gift voucher is paid in full at the time of purchase and covers the Yarra Valley circuit for the number of guests shown on the voucher. It is not tied to a date. Each voucher carries a reference and a valid until date, and is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Vouchers are bought on our gift page.

To redeem, the holder writes to hello@themakerscircuit.com.au quoting the reference, with a few dates that suit. Circuits run Wednesday to Saturday, and we ask for at least three weeks' notice. Dates are confirmed by us and are subject to availability. The number of guests is set at purchase and cannot be changed at redemption. Dietary requirements are arranged as set out below.

A voucher may be passed to another person at any point before it is redeemed. It cannot be exchanged for cash, redeemed in part, or credited against another booking. A voucher may be refunded to the purchaser within 14 days of purchase, provided it has not been redeemed. After 14 days a voucher is non-refundable, except where a refund is required under Australian Consumer Law. Once a date has been confirmed, the cancellation terms above govern any change to that date. A cancelled date does not make the voucher refundable in cash. The voucher returns to unredeemed and may be used again within its remaining validity.

Dietary requirements and allergies

We accommodate dietary requirements where notified at the time of booking. Guests with severe allergies should contact us directly at hello@themakerscircuit.com.au before booking to confirm we can safely accommodate their needs.

Responsible service of alcohol

Wine is served throughout the day in accordance with Victorian responsible service of alcohol legislation. We reserve the right to limit service to any guest. Transport is provided between estates. Guests are not required to drive at any point.

Liability

The Makers' Circuit holds public liability insurance for all events. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings during the experience. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted under Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Victorian courts.
